A friend of mine created a community page on a social network called "Hookah Happiness". Being as Ganesh, a Hindu God, holds a hookah in several depictions of him, I felt it was only right to use him in the design.

After he commissioned me for a photo shoot, Price Johnson asked me to take the time to use some of the images I shot for some designs. This is a Mixtape Cover that came out of this job.
Spread It
This one was done as part of a project for one of my classes. This particular project was to come up with a name, and a theme for a magazine. Then design the front cover, table of contents and a 2page spread. This would be a music themed magazine named 'in the weeds" (a term used to describe being overwhelmed by many tasks) in other words, read this magazine, and we'll catch you up.
The artist in these two designs goes by the name of "Price Johnson" and hails from Miami. My original photos were used for the designs.
This one was of course inspired by Lupe Fiasco's "Daydreaming" feat. Jill Scott. I remember after hearing this song for the first time; I literally put it on repeat for about an hour and just lost myself in the design. It still took me about a week to come with this final design (after about 4 different versions) but I think it was well worth it.
